Late last evening taupo's Youthtown rescue helicopter
was called to Taumaranui Hospital to transport a man with
deep facial lacerations to Waikato hospital. The injuries
were sustained in the National Park township area and were
the result of a dog bite. He was initially roaded to
Taumaranui but due to the seriousness of his injuries he was
airlifted from there to Waikato.
