Men's Health Week is about drawing attention to male specific preventable health issues and acknowledging the important contribution men make to our lives - at work, home and in the community.
Every hour 2 New Zealand men die of a preventable illness
Men's Health Week 2011 is about all areas of men's health - from lifestyle and wellbeing to areas of physical, mental, emotional and sexual health. But the key is to start taking simple steps today that will ensure our kiwi men are around for their whanau and enjoying a fulfilling life for many years to come. It can be as easy as some daily exercise and a regular yearly check-up with a GP.
