Timaru Epilepsy Services in High Demand
Timaru Epilepsy Services in High Demand
Demand for Epilepsy New Zealand’s services in Timaru has been high after the large number of people moving to the town from Christchurch following the devastating February earthquake.
The Canterbury/West Coast branch of Epilepsy New Zealand incorporates the Timaru area into its informational and support services.
“A new Field Officer has also been employed to ensure that people with epilepsy in Timaru are well supported following the earthquake” said Epilepsy New Zealand National Field Manager, Verity Colgrave.
As well as providing information and support for people with epilepsy through personal appointments, telephone and email, Epilepsy New Zealand provides informational seminars for any interested people, organisations or groups. This service, as are all Epilepsy New Zealand’s services, is free of charge.
If you would like to make an appointment with a Field Officer, or request a seminar, please call 0800 20 21 22.
