PT in the Park – 11am on Sunday 20th November at Waitangi Park
On Sunday 20th November at 11am, REPs Registered Exercise Professionals will lead a FREE group exercise session as part of the WCC Outdoor festival at Waitangi Park. Personal Trainers are stepping out of the gyms and bringing fun and fitness to the community!
Inspired by the regular Christchurch events that came about as scores of gyms, fitness facilities and class venues were out of action due to the earthquake Wellington trainers have decided to start a similar event for Wellington people.
PT in the Park organiser Julz Darroch is passionate about fitness without barriers “For many people wanting to get moving it’s a struggle to know where to start, this event is a chance to come along and participate in a safe, friendly environment”.
At the event on Sunday there will be a number of trainers working with different fitness levels, from regular exercisers through to absolute beginners. This is a family friendly event so kids and babies are most welcome.
Participants are invited to turn up dressed for exercise and with suitable footwear. Everyone will be catered for regardless of fitness level and experience of exercise.
The event will take place rain or shine, and will last about an hour.
