Mortality rate for New Zealand adolescents
A recent
article Health of the World's Adolescents: a synthesis of
internationally comparable data, co-authored by
Professor George C Patton showed a high overall mortality
rate for New Zealand adolescents.
For further context,
you may want to look at some of the work undertaken by the
Child and Youth Mortality Review Committee (CYMRC). CYMRC
operates under the umbrella of the Health Quality & Safety
Commission and reviews the deaths of children and young
