College of GPs Congratulates Compass Health Chief On New Appointment
The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners congratulates Compass Health’s former Chief Executive Cathy O’Malley on her new role at the Ministry of Health, says Acting College President Dr Tim Malloy.
“We’re delighted Cathy O’Malley, who has played such an important role in providing support to primary health organisations in the North Island, will be taking up the role of Deputy Director General: Sector Capability and Implementation at the Ministry of Health,” says Dr Malloy.
“She’ll bring significant experience and expertise to the Ministry and I’m sure she’ll make a very valuable contribution to developing policy and plans for advancing New Zealand's primary care sector from within central government. We wish her the best of luck in her new role.”
