Southern Cross Healthcare Group Ceo Joins Leadership Of World Health Insurance Body
The International Federation of Health Plans (iFHP), the London-based global network of health insurance chief executives, has appointed Dr Ian McPherson of Southern Cross Healthcare Group as a joint Vice President.
George Halvorson, CEO of Kaiser Permanente in the USA and current President of the iFHP, praised Dr McPherson's long standing service to the industry.
“Ian has served with distinction as a Council member of the iFHP for many years, and has been hugely supportive of our activities. He has generously welcomed and shared his expertise and experience with numerous international groups visiting New Zealand, and taken part in many conferences and expert bodies. We are delighted to be able to add a person of his calibre to our leadership team.”
