Cyclist accident near Ohakune
At about 1:00pm
yesterday(3 March) the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter
Responded to a call to an injured cyclist near Ohakune. The
cyclist, a 54 year old male, sustained upper body injuries
after falling from his mountain bike near the Hapuawhenua
Viaduct.
He was stabilised by St John paramedic and then airlifted to Wanganui.
