Life Flight transports an injured man from Porirua
At
1:00pm this afternoon the Life Flight team responded to
Porirua to man in his 60’s who had fallen off a ladder and
had sustained serious injuries.
Life Flight responded with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
After landing near the scene the man was transported to the Helicopter by a Wellington Free Ambulance and then flown to Wellington Hospitals Emergency department for further treatment.
The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a national air ambulance service.
