Orion Health Selects Sourced To Recruit 14 New It Sector Jobs for Christchurch

New Generation of Care for South Island Residents

Orion Health has launched a large scale recruitment drive following the creation of 14 new IT jobs at its Christchurch Development Centre.

The increase in staff numbers is the result of Orion Health’s selection by the South Island Alliance as its vendor to implement a new patient administration system for the South Islands’ one million residents and five South Island District Health Boards (DHBs). The Orion Health system will form the foundation for future innovations that will enable greater collaboration for care providers and patients, helping to deliver better health outcomes. The system will build on several existing regional IT initiatives, and together will result in significant process improvements and organisational efficiencies.
