Waikato Doctor Appointed National Clinical Lead
Dr Kim McAnulty has been appointed by the Ministry of Health as the National Clinical Leader for Radiology for the next two years.
This is a part-time role and Kim will continue to be actively involved here at Waikato Hospital at the same time.
The role of National Clinical Leader: Radiology is to support service and quality improvement initiatives in all New Zealand Radiology departments, public and private. It will contribute to standardisation within the New Zealand health system, resulting in clinical excellence and a streamlined patient journey. The national work programme is currently focusing on improvements in computed tomography (CT), but will ultimately cover all modalities.
