Ride Out Of The Blue the 22- day cycle ride starts tomorrow
Tomorrow the Ride Out Of The Blue team set out from Bluff on a 22 - day cycle ride to raise awareness of mental health and funds for the Mental Health Foundation.
The Ride Out Of The Blue team of ten riders will start out at 8 am tomorrow on the 2,300 km cycle ride from Bluff, finishing at Cape Regina on November 2.
Their aim is to create awareness around of mental health, depression and suicide.
The team will be stopping in towns, cities and communities along the way.
Ride Out Of The Blue also aims
to raise at least $50,000 towards the Mental Foundation
Mindfulness in Schools project.
The Mental Health
Foundation’s Mindfulness in Schools programme aims to
prevent the development of childhood mental distress by
encouraging positive mental health practices for children at
primary school level.
