Gold Innovation Award for Manuka Honey Skin Care
Gold Innovation Award for Manuka Honey Skin
Care
Manuka Health New
Zealand has won the 2014 Gold Innovation Award for Natural
Skin Care, awarded by the US Health and Beauty Care
Executive.
The award recognises Manuka Health’s ManukaClear™ proprietary skincare formulas, created specifically to treat skin conditions such as acne and eczema.
ManukaClear™ products combine high strength MGO™ Manuka Honey with natural botanical extracts selected for their proven skin benefits.
Nina Paul, Manuka Health’s Marketing Manager, says the award is especially gratifying as an acknowledgement of the skin care benefits of genuine New Zealand MGO™ Manuka Honey.
“Our ManukaClear™ products are 100% natural, high strength MGO™ Manuka Honey-based formulas which contain only proven active ingredients that really work” she says.
“Many acne and eczema products contain ingredients that can be harmful to the skin and actually aggravate rather than improve the skin’s condition. We specifically developed our ManukaClear™ products to be free of preservatives, fragrance, colours, water or other fillers.”
Manuka Health triumphed over stiff competition from large natural skin care brands such as Burt’s Bees® and derma e®.
The global trend for natural skin care continues to grow, and Manuka Health say they are committed to further developing their skin care range to meet the demand for safe natural products suitable for all skin types.
