Disability Community to Lobby Auckland Council over loss of specialist Disability Advisors - Tomorrow - 9am Wed 26 August
What: Disabled people
will be pleading with Auckland Council to save Auckland's
Two specialist Disability Advisors, whose roles are about to
be disestablished under the council's 'Empowered
Communities' approach.
Tomorrow's meeting is the last
opportunity to formally appeal to the Council before the
positions are disestablished.
When: 9am, Wednesday 26 August 2015. (The group will be addressing the Council meeting which starts at 0930. They are speaking as agenda item 5.2, but the exact time of their presentation has not been specified and will depend on other items on the day)
