Neurodivergence Wellbeing Conference Set To Launch This August On The Gold Coast

The Neurodivergence Wellbeing Conference (NWC25) will launch on 11–12 August 2025 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, bringing together lived experience advocates, clinicians, educators, researchers, and policy leaders to explore the intersections of neurodivergence and mental health.
Presented by the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association, NWC25 is a new national event dedicated to advancing neurodivergent wellbeing across systems, services, and communities. The program has been shaped by lived experience, community priorities, and the latest research.
More than 50 expert speakers from across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond will present on topics such as autism, ADHD, OCD, trauma, eating and feeding, identity, systemic change, intersectionality, and more.
“The goal of NWC25 is to elevate neurodivergent perspectives, reshape how services are delivered, and open up space for transformative conversations around inclusion and mental health,” said Sam Stewart, CEO of the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association.
To help attendees care for their own wellbeing during the event, NWC25 will offer a variety of optional wellness activities including access to a quiet Wellness Zone, creative expression through a Wellness Wall, a trauma-informed yoga session, and more.
NWC25 welcomes both in-person and virtual attendees. The conference is open to professionals, practitioners, researchers, educators, policymakers, support providers, and neurodivergent individuals passionate about driving change.
Virtual and in-person registrations remain open at https://anzmh.asn.au/nwc.
