InformationNZ Continues Its Health And Wellbeing Programme With A PopUp Health, Vaccination, And Wellbeing Clinic
With flu season now underway, InformationNZ is strengthening its commitment to community wellbeing by delivering a popup health, vaccination, and wellbeing clinic at the Stokes Valley Community Market — the first market of its kind for the Stokes Valley community. The clinic will run on Saturday 11 April, from 10am to 1pm at Scott Court, Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt.
The market is proudly coorganised by InformationNZ and Stokes Valley Kai, two organisations dedicated to uplifting local whānau and improving access to essential services. Together, they are creating a vibrant community space that supports connection, culture, and wellbeing.
As part of this commitment, the InformationNZ popup clinic will offer flu vaccinations, health and wellbeing checks, and support to help community members connect with wider health and social services. The InformationNZ clinical team, supported by the wider InformationNZ team, will be onsite delivering health and wellbeing support throughout the event. Community members will also have the opportunity to catch up on other vaccinations they may be behind on, ensuring families are protected heading into winter.
Muliagatele Bella Bartley, CEO of InformationNZ, highlighted the importance of removing barriers to care, saying:
“Protection and prevention are our strongest tools. One of the biggest barriers to accessing health services is cost, and InformationNZ is making it easier for communities by bringing health support and services directly into the places where people are. By offering vaccinations, health checks, and service navigation right here in the community, we’re helping families stay well and making access simple and affordable.”
InformationNZ encourages all community members — especially those at higher risk, in particular Pacific communities and elderly people — to take advantage of the clinic and stay protected this flu season.
