Communications Manager appointed to LTSA

DESIREE KEOWN has been appointed to the position of Manager, Communications for the Land Transport Safety Authority, based in Wellington.

Ms Keown has overall responsibility for all advertising, public relations and media relations for the LTSA, including all safety promotions activity.

With 15 years of experience in the communications industry, she has worked as a journalist, public relations and advertising account director, and communications manager for several large organisations.

Ms Keown was Communications Manager for Prudential (subsequently Colonial) from 1997, managing all advertising, direct marketing and PR activity. For the past nine months she has worked with ACC, managing their internal change communications and website development.
