Public Invited To Comment On Options
Transit New Zealand will be holding two public information days next week to outline the proposed options for the Harbour Bridge to City project which covers the area from the Auckland Harbour Bridge, through St Mary’s Bay and across Victoria Park viaduct to Wellington Street.
To ensure as many people as possible have the chance to view the displays, and provide feedback, two information days will be held. The information will be the same at each open day:
Saturday 4 May (10am – 2pm)
and
Tuesday 7 May
(4pm – 8pm)
Ponsonby Primary School Hall
44 Curran
Street
Herne Bay
Two main questions are being put to members of the public – which option is preferred, and the extent of support for extra community based funding of the more expensive below-ground options.
Transit New Zealand representatives and members of the project team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions and to discuss the project in detail.
