Letter relating to the 2000/01 Financial Review of New Zealand Post Limited
There have been media reports relating to a letter the committee received from Rodney Hide alleging inconsistencies in evidence New Zealand Post gave to the committee during its recently completed financial review.
The committee received the letter and resolved to forward it to the Privileges Committee without comment. It is important to note that the Finance and Expenditure Committee does not have a view on the contents of the letter.
As Chairperson I am disappointed this matter has become an issue for public discussion.
