Brace yourself for another Peters hate campaign
Progressive deputy leader Matt Robson accuses NZ First of softening up New Zealanders for another Winston Peters hate campaign against migrants.
“With these tiresome and predictable campaigns from Mr Peters, there are possibly votes for his party,” said the Progressive MP.
“But there is also long term damage to harmonious relations within New Zealand, and Mr Peters does damage to New Zealand’s international reputation. He risks people overseas judging us as intolerant and unwelcoming.
“Migrants who bring their skills to New Zealand contribute to the wellbeing of our nation. New Zealand has a long-term need for new settlers and their skills.,” said Matt Robson
His continued denigration of non-European immigrants demeans Mr Peters and his party.
