Congratulations Anderton And Dunne
New Zealand First leader Rt Hon Winston Peters has congratulated Jim Anderton and Peter Dunne on the High Court's ruling for TV3 to include them in tonight's Leaders Debate.
Mr Peters says that democracy has been served by the decision, and that there was no justification for arbitrarily omitting two of the eight party leaders in the debate.
“The media has a responsibility to present the full range of views and ideas that all the parties have to offer.
“Any other result would have left a sour taste in our mouths,” said Mr Peters.
