Submissions on
the Local Government (Auckland Council) Bill
The
Auckland Governance Legislation Committee has called for
submissions on the Local Government (Auckland Council) Bill,
committee chairperson Hon John Carter announced today. The
closing date for submissions is Friday, 26 June 2009.
The committee requests that submissions address specifically the matters raised in the bill, as it will not be considering any other issues. Because the committee must report on the bill by 4 September, no late submissions will be accepted.
The committee will spend a significant amount of time hearing submissions in Auckland Mr Carter said.
