Peters Pledges More National Political Promises
Peters Pledges More National Political Promises
The
candidate for the Northland electorate by-election, New
Zealand First Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters, said today that
he could pledge more National political promises due to
National’s panic and Northlanders growing awareness of
having been neglected for so long.
"These political promises from National rather than being smart politics are an outright admission of their having taken Northlanders for granted for so long.
"In just 10 days we have got Northland 10 new bridges. That’s a bridge a day.
"National is panicking and soon will promise:
1. To speed up the Puhoi-Wellsford Highway
2. Speed up the broadband roll out
3. To have the Māori Party coming out supporting these measures saying it is an example of how they work with government and how they are working for Māori in Northland.
Northland voters are saying if Winston Peters can do this in 10 days imagine what he can do in two and a half years.
