Inquiry into Parliament’s legislative response to future national emergencies – interim report presented and submission deadline extended.
Today the Regulations Review Committee presented to the House of Representatives its interim report on the Inquiry into Parliament’s legislative response to future national emergencies.
Attached to this report is a catalogue of emergency powers for public consultation. The catalogue is intended to help inform submissions on the inquiry.
The committee has extended the deadline for public submissions on the inquiry from 1 June 2015 to 1 August 2015.
