Congratulations All Blacks!!!
Andrew Little congratulated the All Blacks on their world class victory in the Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham.
“It was clearly a tough battle that was fought bravely from the beginning to the end. Two successive world cup victories shows an outstanding team,” says Opposition Leader Andrew Little.
“The All Blacks have shown strength and determination by successfully defending the world champion title. This historic victory proves they are a record breaking All Black team.
“To be at Twickenham with all the All Black supporters was fantastic as there was a truly great atmosphere but I’m sure New Zealand supporters at home were just as loud and proud.
“New Zealand and Australia have enjoyed a robust competitive relationship but the All Blacks showed true grit and determination.
“After the results of the cricket and netball world cups earlier this, it was good the All Blacks have evened the score.
“Richie McCaw has proven he’s a world class captain and player having led the team to two successive World Cup victories and it would be right he is considered for appropriate recognition.
“It was also fitting Dan Carter ended his international career as man of the match and he will go down in rugby history as one of the greatest ever first five-eight.
“Congratulations to Richie McCaw, Steve Hansen and all the All Blacks team,” says Andrew Little.
