Public hearing of evidence for urgent earthquake legislation
The Local Government and Environment Committee is meeting today to consider urgent legislation relating to the Hurunui/Kaikōura Earthquakes. The Hurunui/Kaikōura Earthquakes Emergency Relief Bill will be considered by the committee today, and the committee will report back to the House tomorrow.
The committee is scheduled to hold a Hearing of Evidence from 3.30pm onwards this afternoon. The hearing will be held in Select Committee Room 11 and will be open to the public.
