Have your say on the Insolvency Practitioners Bill
The Economic Development, Science and Innovation committee is seeking submissions on the Insolvency Practitioners Bill, including Supplementary Order Paper (SOP) 45. Submissions are open until Friday, 24 August 2018.
The bill,
introduced in 2010, created powers to restrict or prohibit
individuals from providing insolvency services, and
strengthened measures to automatically disqualify insolvency
practitioners.
The Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs introduced SOP 45, which substantially amends the bill. The Minister felt that a select committee should consider it again.
Tell the Economic Development, Science and Innovation Committee what you think
Send your submission on the bill by midnight on Friday, 24 August 2018.
