Australian Political Exchange staff visit New Zealand Parliament
Political staff from Australian Federal and
State Parliaments are currently visiting New Zealand as part
of the Australian Political Exchange.
New Zealand’s Speaker, Rt Hon Trevor Mallard, says that this visit is part of a reciprocal programme between the New Zealand Parliament and Australian Parliament.
“This visit to New Zealand offers Australian delegates the opportunity to learn more about New Zealand, its political processes and issues, and deepens the relationship between current and future political leaders on both sides of the Tasman.”
The Australian delegation is visiting a number of New Zealand Government institutions to find out more about our political processes, and also several of New Zealand’s successful business entities to discover more about New Zealand exports.
The delegation is visiting Wellington and Auckland.
