The Speaker of the House,
Rt Hon Trevor Mallard would like to express his sincere
gratitude for the condolence messages received from
Parliaments across the world in the wake of the terror
attack in Christchurch on Friday March 15 2019.
“I have received countless messages both publically and privately over the past few days and I would like to thank our fellow Parliaments and Speakers for their offers of support and kind words to the New Zealand Parliament and to the people of New Zealand.”
“I would also like to acknowledge those Parliaments that flew flags at half-mast in recognition of this tragedy.”
