Chris Hipkins Congratulates PM Anthony Albanese
New Zealand Labour Party Leader Chris Hipkins extends his congratulations to re-elected Australian PM Anthony Albanese and the Australian Labor Party.
“Warmest congratulations to re-elected Australian PM Anthony Albanese,” Chris Hipkins said.
“Australia is our closest friend and neighbour and the relationship between our two countries has been strengthened considerably under the Albanese government.
“It’s vital during these globally uncertain times that we continue to grow relations with our closest allies. Anthony Albanese has been a great friend to New Zealand in this regard, and I certainly look forward to achieving more together.
“My very best wishes to him and the Labor team,” Chris Hipkins said.
