Progress ! NZ Nuclear Free Zone Extension Bill (2000)

as you may have heard by now, the New Zealand Nuclear Free Zone Extension Bill (2000) had its first reading in parliament yesterday, 5 July, and by 67 to 53 votes it has proceeded on to Select Committee stage.
We will let you know within the next couple of weeks about the opportunities to make submissions on, and to influence the progress of, the Bill.
