“Show Me Your Gun Laws, & I’ll Show You How Free You Are!” - Libz

Hard Labour’s George Hawkins proposes harsher gun laws, which Libertarianz Spokesman Peter Linton exposes for what they will bring: “Blatant theft of private property.”

“Registration has always led to confiscation, and has already done so on four previous occasions in New Zealand,” says Linton. “Hawkins’ proposed firearms law will bring us into line with such models of freedom as Indonesia, East Timor, and Nazi Germany, where registration has also led to confiscation – at least from lawful gun owners.”

“No gun confiscation has ever reduced the firearms that criminals own,” he says. “Such laws only serve to restrict the right of law abiding New Zealanders to defend themselves. To stop this oppression Libertarianz recommends that decent New Zealanders stockpile their guns and their ammunition, and bury them.”

“We will shortly be making water proof canisters available so they can do just that.”
