Re-evaluation of the Human Rights Protections in New Zealand Report.
The deadline for submissions on the Report has been extended from 20 December 2000 to 9 February 2001.

You can find out more about the Re-evaluation Report's key findings and recommendations by attending one of the Human Rights Network of New Zealand seminars on it. Margaret Wilson, Associate Minister of Justice and Tim Barnett, MP for Christchurch Central, will attend these presentations. Tim Barnett will be presenting an overview of the report.
The seminars are open for any interested people and groups to attend. Venues & times are as follows:
· Wellington - 30 November, Beehive Theatrette, Beehive, from 3-30pm to 5pm (note: there will be public access without having to notify parliamentary security that you will be attending);
· Auckland - 5 December, Room B10, Library Building, University of Auckland, from 1-30pm to 3-30pm;
· Christchurch - 6 December, Oxford Terrace Baptist Church, from 12-30pm to 2pm.
At the conclusion of the presentation there will be time available for a question and answer session on the report which may assist you to make a written submission.
