Greenham: 20 Years On
Kia ora,
In August, it is the 20th anniversary of the day when women left Cardiff (Wales) to walk to Greenham Common airbase to protest against the plans to base US nuclear cruise missiles there. We are currently discussing the various ideas to mark the day with women in Britain, with a view to possibly organising something here.
If you were at Greenham or involved with the Aldermaston Women's Peace Camp and are interested in discussing possibilities for doing something here in Aotearoa, could you please get in touch with me here at the PMA office. Also, anyone receiving this who knows of any women who were at Greenham or Aldermaston, can you please pass this message on to them.
Thanks, Edwina.
