“The Human Rights Commission unequivocally
condemns any use of violence or threats of violence. There
is no place for them in New Zealand today and they can not
ever be condoned or justified” said Chief Human Rights
Commissioner Rosslyn Noonan.
Ms.Noonan’s strongly worded
comments were made in response to news media reports of
threats against people involved in the resignation of a
Human Rights
Commissioner.
