*** WELLINGTON
* THURSDAY, 20 September - a group of concerned Wellington citizens will hold a peaceful, apolitical demonstration to protest against the large-scale military strikes being proposed by the U.S.A. in response to last week's attacks. There will be a march followed by a rally at Parliament, for all Wellingtonians feeling concern and fear at the possible escalation of violence in the world. At Parliament we hope to make a presentation to Prime Minister Helen Clark to ask her to voice the concerns of all New Zealanders who do not want more violence.
The march will gather at Midland Park at 12 midday, move off at 12-15pm and a rally with speakers (yet to be confirmed) at Parliament starting at 12-30 pm.
