Gimmes Should Flock To Kiwibank
Blackmailing Beneficiaries Should Flock To Kiwibank
"What better place to open Kiwibank's first shop than Palmerston North,", "the home of the so-called Palmerston North Poverty Action Group," comments Lindsay Mitchell, Libertarianz associate spokesman for deregulation of welfare.
"How convenient for the 'gimmes'. After demanding their special benefit from WINZ under threat of publicly 'naming and shaming' case workers who decline, the blackmailers can pop next door to further demand their taxpayer-subsidised loans and mortgages."
"Perhaps Kiwibank's designers could simply install a revolving door between the two taxpayer-funded shopfronts so that the 'gimmes' won't have to walk so far?" muses MItchell.
"Some beneficiaries are genuinely unable to fare for themselves and fair-minded and compassionate people will always want to provide for them," Mitchell continues, "But it taxes our sense of justice when a group receiving taxpayer-funded charity announces that it will threaten WINZ staff that fail to co-operate with their demands. And it is no better when the government acts just as immorally by threatening the jobs of BNZ, ANZ, WESTPAC, ASB and other bank employees by financing openly competing banks with THEIR money!"
"Beneficiaries that blackmail and governments that are morally bankrupt. Take your pick -they are both bullyboys," concludes Mitchell. "Libertarianz denounce the use of force by bludgers and governments alike."
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!
