Call To Boycott Israeli Goods PHRC Auckland
PRESS RELEASE
The international
BIG campaign ( Boycott Israeli Goods )
is being launched in New Zealand at Aotea Square Auckland Saturday August 3rd 2pm.
Each month for the past 18 months the Palestine Human Rights Campaign has gathered at Aotea Square to call for
1. Removal of Israeli Occupation.
2.Cessation of Jewish only Settlements in occupied Palestine.
3. Sharing Jerusalem.
4.Right of Return for Refugees
Saturday's call to BOYCOTT ISRAELI GOODS is a response to the brutal occupation of Palestine by Israel.
While many groups around the world both Jewish and non Jewish are involved in isolating Israel culturally and academically, the Palestine Human Rights Campaign is NOW focusing on trade as was the case against apartheid South Africa during the 70's and 80's.
This international campaign is backed by many Jews who are disgusted by the sadistic policies of Ariel Sharon and his government and want to distance themselves from the cruel and inhumane practices such as those being perpetrated by the Israeli military forces occupying Palestine.
A list of these products is being compiled and will soon be published. The public is urged to avoid purchasing products made in Israel and bearing a barcode beginning 729....
