Former TVNZ Chairman's Expenses Reviewed
The former Chairman of TVNZ, Ross Armstrong, was
requested in early September to review his expenses over the
preceeding 15 months. Today TVNZ's Chief Financial Officer
met with Mr Armstrong to complete this review.
A number of minor personal expenses including the cost of a recent meal at Vinnies Restaurant were identified and repaid in full to TVNZ by Mr Armstrong. Mr Armstrong has provided the Company with an assurance that all other expenses were incurred in connection with TVNZ business.
TVNZ confirms that rigorous processes are in place for the approval of all TVNZ board expenses. The Chair of the Finance and Risk Sub-Committee vets and approves the expenses to ensure they are related to TVNZ business.
