Ethnic Council Condemns Winston Peters Attacks
New Zealand Federation Of Ethnic Council Condemns
Winston Peters Attacks On Asian Immigrants
Last weekend Winston Peters was on his usual self promotion behavior at the expense of 6.6 % of the population of Asian origin. The New Zealand Federation of Ethnic Councils condemns his constant fiery attack on Asians that is not founded on genuine knowledge of the issues.
As a political party leader, instead of promoting a cohesive New Zealand society, he and his party colleagues are promoting fear with unsubstantiated remarks.
We recognise that this not the first and certainly not his last. His dangerous attitude is likely to not only bring disharmony in NZ but also economically sabotage NZ export and trade opportunities to Asia.
This Federation shares the views of the Prime Minister, Minister of Immigration, other political parties and business leaders that his approach to ethnic affairs is bordering on economic sabotage.
