NZBR Welcomes Brash Appointment
New Zealand Business Roundtable chairman Rob McLeod today congratulated National Party leader Dr Don Brash on his election by caucus.
"Every government needs a strong and vibrant opposition to provide checks and balances," Mr McLeod said. "For that reason, the Business Roundtable is keen to see an effective performance by National and other centre-right parties.
"The Business Roundtable looks forward to working with Dr Brash and his caucus. We have enjoyed our relationship with Bill English, and are confident that he will continue to play an important role for the opposition," Mr McLeod concluded.
