Christchurch Anarchist Conference needs you!
Christchurch Anarchist Conference needs you!
Kia ora all,
The Anarchist Round Table (ART) is planning on holding an anarchist conference in Christchurch towards the later part of this year, around October or November. We are trying to make this conference as collective as possible. A lot of preperation is required for such a conference and so we are asking now for input from various people around the country who would think about attending such a conference.
The key areas we would like input and ideas in are:
1) Ideas for possible workshops, discussion, skillshares etc. You don't neccessarily have to be prepared to run a workshop either - we are also just interested in getting a general picture of what worshops etc. would be valuable. 2) Proposals for a firm date for the conference. We are trying to avoid uni and high school exams but also aiming to have sufficient time afterwards to carry through with decisions (ie. well before xmas holidays). 3) Ideas about the general running of the conference. What would you like to see and what would you like to get out of an anarchist conference?
There is a discussion space at: http://www.enzyme.org.nz/anarchy/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=192 so drop by and see how planning is going.
If there are any other additional areas you would like to have input in, please do so! We look forward to getting back comments.
