Men's Convoy 2004 an outstanding success
"MEN'S CONVOY 2004 has been an outstanding success," convenor Jim Nicolle said today.
"MEN'S CONVOY 2004 departed Auckland on Monday and travelled 2,200 km through the north island, arriving in Wellington on Wednesday . Our rally at Parliament was addressed by Associate Minister for Revenue Hon. David Cuncliffe; ACT MP Dr Muriel Newman; and United-Future MP and Bernie Ogilvy. "
We visited Inland Revenue to deliver the shirts off our backs and we still are carrying a petition calling on the Government to radically reform the current Child Support System."
"We are grateful for the widespread support we received and are continuing to receive from the people of New Zealand".
"We are not against paying child support; we just want a fair and reasonable child support system that works in the best interest of our children . Inland Revenue say it's their job to be fair. We want to hold them to their word", concluded Nicolle.
