March Against Racism Statement withdrawn:
Due to an unfortunate miscommunication, President of the New Zealand Federation of Ethnic Councils, Pancha Narayanan was misquoted in our previous press release concerning the anti-racist march to take place on October 23.
Mr Narayanan wishes to state that there is no evidence linking the National Front to the anti-Muslim hate-mail. However, he continues to support the anti-racism march. Tze Ming Mok, spokesperson for the organising committee of the march wishes to apologise for any mispresentation of the NZFEC's position, and thanks the NZFEC for their strong support of the march against racism.
