New Zealand Flag Day to be marked more widely in 2005
The New Zealand Flag is now into its 136th year. The anniversary of the flag on 23 October was marked for the first time this year during a number of special functions.
The New Zealand Flag Institute calls upon New Zealander's to make Flag Day an annual celebration.
The New Zealand Flag Institute invites all New Zealander's to join together in celebrating our foremost national symbol. Our flag is a unifying force, and Flag Day should be an annual opportunity to focus on national pride.
