A SPECIAL RALLY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR YASSER ARAFAT

Auckland War Memorial Museum (west side) – Palestine Wall

4pm Saturday 4th December 2004

A floral tribute will be laid to honour the memory of all those who have died or suffered in the conflict

A procession to the olive grove at the rear of the museum where another tribute will be laid

Prayers for peace will be offered from all faiths present

The Palestine Human Rights Campaign was formed in 1982 with the aim of informing all New Zealanders about the cruel and unusual injustices inflicted daily on the Palestinian People by successive Israeli Governments.

Our policy is to use peaceful demonstration, education and an intensive media protest campaign to bring about changes in the attitude of the NZ Government and people toward the Palestinian crisis.
