Prime Minister to promote New Zealand books in Germany

Three New Zealand pictorial books will feature during a reception hosted by Prime Minister Helen Clark in Berlin, Germany on April 28th.

Moments of Tranquillity - New Zealand Landscapes, New Zealand 360 Landscape Panoramas by German photographers Jens Waldenmaier and Thorsten Tiedeke and New Zealand, a book showcasing over 1,200 previously unpublished photographs will be promoted.

The invitation only reception will take place at the Marriott Hotel, Inge-Beisheim Platz 1, Berlin and aims to promote business, trade, cultural and political links between New Zealand and Germany.

Moments of Tranquillity, a slip-cased premium quality book has a foreword by the Prime Minister.

‘These photos capture the essence of some of our most special places…I encourage readers of this book to take the next step, and visit some of the sites captured by Jens,’ says Helen Clark.

The books are part of a series of fifteen titles distributed globally this year that highlight New Zealand’s magnificent natural landscapes.

The books will be distributed locally by Addenda Publishing and will be on sale in New Zealand from July.
