Destiny New Zealand Launches Mana's Man
"Destiny New Zealand Launches Mana's Man"
Destiny New Zealand set the platform for its Mana candidate in Porirua last night, former Wellington Hurricane and Manu Samoa representative, Tala Leiasamaivao.
Speaking to a full hall at Mana College, party leader Richard Lewis told an enthusiastic audience that Mr Leiasamaivao provided a strong pro-family voice for the Mana electorate.
"Tala is an outstanding family man who represents decisive leadership based on traditional family values - values that esteem the institution of marriage, the intergenerational family and the wellbeing of children," he said. Mr Lewis told the audience that the Labour Party no longer carried its former values, but had shifted from representing the 'working class man' to 'extreme minority groups'.
"At this election we have to re-examine former political allegiances and vote according to our deepest conviction. I am sure that most of us still hold fast to the values of our forefathers. No party carries traditional family values like Destiny New Zealand," he added. Destiny New Zealand candidates and policies can be viewed on www.destinynz.org.nz
