Christians and Jews Deplore Peters Statement The New Zealand Council of Christians and Jews
The New Zealand Council of Christians and Jews greatly regrets the remarks made by the Leader of New Zealand First, which call into question the integrity of the Muslim Community of this country.
We deplore the singling out of any religious group for critisism, especially as New Zealand's Islamic Leadership have issued clear statements condeming terrorism.
The lines are open for all political leaders to reach the leadership of all religious communities in New Zealand, to enable all political parties to seek ways of ensuring harmonious relationships between all sections and cultures in this country.
