Results
Statement by Chief Electoral Officer
Good progress is being made in compiling the official results of the election. Votes cast on election night have been recounted and checked in accordance with the law and the counting of special votes is commencing.
The target is to release the official results by 2pm on Saturday 1 October. This is in line with the timetable achieved in the 2002 election.
If there is any change to that target I will give as much warning as possible.

Electoral Officer
